Is ChatGPT or an old listing telling customers you’re closed?
We check what ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI and three other AI tools say about your cafe, compare your hours and details across Google, Burpple and food blogs, read your recent reviews, and send you one page of what to fix.

What we actually found. Try it yourself.
A real test, write-ups and free tips from checks we ran in October 2026. Cafes with problems are never named. AI answers also vary a lot from tool to tool: in a large US study, four AI tools picked the same top local business only 4% of the time (Yext, 2026, US data).
We asked 6 AI tools for the best coffee in Bukit Bintang
These 4 cafes came up most. Copy the exact question, paste it into ChatGPT, and see if your cafe is on the list.

We checked 5 Klang Valley cafes. Every one had an old Burpple page that disagreed with Google about which day it’s closed. Here’s why that matters for AI answers.

AI tools now search, compare and even book for people. How they pick a shortlist of cafes, and why wrong hours online quietly lose you customers.
Read the article →Some customers now ask AI where to get coffee. What does it tell them?
We ask the same questions a customer would, in English and Malay, and record what each assistant says about your cafe. AI repeats what your reviews and listings say, so most of what we find can be fixed.
What we check
- 1Are you recommended?Whether each assistant names you when someone asks for coffee in your area, and who it names instead.
- 2What do they say about you?The exact lines AI repeats, good and bad, such as “gets busy on weekends” or “small cups for the price”.
- 3Wrong detailsWrong opening hours, an old address, or a “temporarily closed” note that is no longer true.
- 4Which sources they citeThe listings, blogs and review sites each assistant relies on, and which of them are missing you.
- 5Fixes, in orderA short list of what to change first, starting with your Google Business Profile and stale listings.

A working sample built on live public data: Google reviews across 80 outlets and YouTube conversation about four coffee chains, over one month. Brand names are anonymised and customer comments are paraphrased.
Sentiment share by brand
On-topic mentions only. Brand names anonymised.
What the sample found
- One campaign, one spike. A single music video drove 24 on-topic mentions in one day.
- Operations drive the complaints. For one chain, 65% of wait-time mentions and 43% of taste mentions were negative or mixed.
- Rating vs reality. A 3.66 Google rating against a category average above 4.3.
The Starter report uses the same method on one page: your cafe and 3 nearby rivals, compared on wait, price, taste, service and ambience.

Questions owners ask.
Is a person actually checking this?
Yes. We use AI to help sort and tag reviews, but every report and scan is checked by a human before it reaches you. That includes Malay, Manglish and Chinese comments, and sarcasm, which keyword tools often read the wrong way.
Do I need to give you any logins?
No. We only use public information, such as your Google reviews, public posts and what AI assistants say when anyone asks. We never ask for passwords or access to your accounts.
How fast will I get it?
Within 48 hours of you telling us your cafe and area (and, for a listening report, the 3 cafes you want to compare against).
What is the difference between the report and the AI Scan?
The Social Listening Report shows what customers say about you in reviews, next to 3 nearby rivals. The AI Scan shows what AI assistants repeat from those reviews and listings. They work well together, but you can start with either one.
Can you guarantee AI will recommend my cafe?
No, and nobody honestly can. AI answers change from run to run and depend on what is written about you online. We show you what they say today, where it comes from, and the fixes most likely to help.
Will you name my cafe publicly?
No. We never name cafes in our public posts or samples. Your report is for you.
